Washington DC Trip

All work and no play is never good. So this past week I took off to Washington, DC to visit my little sister. She's getting a degree in Political Science at Georgetown, and working for Senator Kennedy's health committe, so she was an excellent guide for the area. I took my trusty little point-and-shoot camera (my goodness, sometimes it's wonderful not to carry two 15 pound cameras around my neck at once)and we hit all the major sights. The Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Building, White House. We even got stuck in the Senate office building when there was a fire in the cafeteria and got to meet lots of nice firefighters in their very friendly scuba masks. What a fun and exciting trip!
